Raza Unida Gang Members Indicted On Federal Racketeering Charges | Corpus Christi, TX | KZTV10.com |: "Members of the Raza Unida prison and street gang were indicted by a federal grand jury this week as part of a local and federal racketeering investigation.
13 members of the gang are charged with violent acts as part of a criminal organization. The investigation involved the Department of Homeland Security, Immigrations and Customs Enforcement, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and the Corpus Christi Police Department.
Prosecutors want to keep the following suspects in federal custody, without bond, until trial:
Preston Mascorro - 29; Karlos Bouchot - 35;
Rudy Rodriguez - 31; Martin Guardiola III - 35;
Ricky Alejandro - 25; Israel Plazola - 26;
Michael Ornelas - 31; Anthony Torres - 34;
Jerome Aranda - 31; Johnny Joe Guerra - 33;
Orlando Amador Garcia - 32; Valerie Botello - 28;
Stephen Ayala -34."
