Jail time put off until he graduates | Courts | projo.com | The Providence Journal: "Suliva Hong, 18, of 231 Wallace St., will get five weeks’ liberty to allow him to graduate from high school before he must report to the Adult Correctional Institutions. And his co-defendant, Jose Brito, 20, of 282 Manton Ave., will enjoy the extra time, too.
Five weeks is “a lot longer than I typically leave people on the street” after they have been sentenced for a violent crime, the judge said from the bench Thursday. Expressing misgivings, Krause ordered that neither man associate with others in Dark Side during their release.
Krause questioned each man separately, gaining his promise to steer clear of Dark Side members and to stay out of trouble."
