His solicitor has told the Probation Service she will issue High Court proceedings against his recall to prison for breaching his licence unless he is released on Monday.
Noonan, 45, was recalled last week after an alleged spat with a driver. He was accused of going berserk when a woman beeped at him as he crossed Hyde Road in Gorton. He is said to have shouted: 'Do you know who I am?' before hitting the car with a copy of the M.E.N."
