The 45-year-old, one of Manchester's most notorious villains, was quizzed by police after waving a copy of the paper at a shocked woman motorist who had beeped at him as he crossed Hyde Road in Gorton.
Clutching the paper, he is said to have gone berserk, swearing and shouting: 'Do you know who I am?' before tapping the car with the paper.
The outburst happened at on the day the MEN reported how Noonan claimed to be a changed man after being released early from a nine-and-a-half year prison sentence."
