Gerbil’s funeral will be mobbed | The Sun |Home Scotland|Scottish News: "SLAIN underworld enforcer Kevin 'Gerbil' Carroll's funeral will finally be held next week - once his family find a venue big enough to hold all the gangland mourners expected to attend.
The 29-year-old was shot dead in a supermarket car park four months ago, but detectives investigating the killing have only just released his body.
And last night relatives were said to be still searching for a chapel for the service - set to be attended by some of Glasgow's most notorious mobsters. A source revealed: 'Kevin's body was released a couple of days ago and the funeral will be next week. The family are just happy they can finally lay him to rest."
