Go-Jamaica :: Jamaican police seek alleged gangster ‘Dog Paw’ :: News: "police have issued another appeal for alleged gangster Christopher Linton alias ‘Dog Paw’ to turn himself in.
According to the police, Dog Paw, who has eluded them for months, might be linked to an attack on a police team in Bedward Gardens, St Andrew yesterday.
The police say the attack might have been in retaliation against a clampdown on an alleged lucrative illegal sand-mining operation near the Hope River.
The head of the St Andrew Central Division, Superintendent Derrick Knight, says the illegal sand mining operation has been fuelling gang activities.
According to him, the perpetrators of the illegal sand mining operation are using money from the sale of the sand to buy weapons and ammunition."
