2 members of Crips arraigned in Falls - Niagara Falls - The Buffalo News: "After hearing reports about Crips members wanting to kill two city police officers who were interrupting their drug activity, two members of the gang were investigated and are now facing felony drug-possession charges, police said Monday.
Alton Hilson, 33, of Michigan Avenue, and Mark Douglas, 31, of Ninth Street, were arraigned in City Court on Friday on felony second-degree criminal possession of marijuana after police said they found about a pound of marijuana and $4,000 cash in a Ninth Street residence.
Hilson also was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after he was found with six hydrocodone pills, police said. Hilson, a Falls native with a lengthy record who had been traveling back and forth from California, was released after posting $10,000 bail. Douglas was released after posting $5,000 bail.
Police said both men were connected to the Crips, a Los Angelesbased street gang, and were found with California driver’s licenses."
