Julianna Farrait Arrested on Narcotics Charges

10:39 |

Julianna Farrait Arrested on Narcotics Charges: "DEA has arrested Julianna Farrait in an undercover police operation at a Puerto Rican hotel. The wife of 70s drug dealer Frank Lucas (who inspired the movie “American Gangster”) and aunt of rapper TNT was caught in a money transaction involving cocaine.

If found guilty, Farrait could face from 5-to 40 years and will have to pay a $2 million fine. Julianna, 70, appeared today in court and remained silent through the process, only requesting judge Marcos Lopez Esposada to speak in Spanish during the trial.
Farrait has been charged with conspiracy to violate narcotics law, and hasn’t been assigned an attorney to defend her throughout the process. During the case of her husband, Frank Lucas, he had to serve a sentence from 1975 to 1991, while Farrait had to serve 5 years in prison."
