Stella English and the ugly truth about the gangster's moll who won the Apprentice | Mail Online

Posted On 19:45 0 comments

Stella English and the ugly truth about the gangster's moll who won the Apprentice | Mail Online: "official BBC life story of Stella Susan English has some rather glaring omissions — which we can today remedy (albeit within tight legal constraints owing to a number of serious criminal cases against some of her fiance’s former associates).

Indeed, even as she drove back home to her cottage in St Albans after winning on Sunday night, the truth about Stella’s ‘other’ life was apparent as soon as she walked through the front door.

For waiting to greet her was Ray Dewar, 39, her fiancé and the father of her two children, Edward, four, and two-year-old Frank. For Raymond Alexander Dewar is a notorious hard-man with links to one of Britain’s most feared drugs barons.

Dewar was once associated with a major underworld figure (because he’s connected to a current legal case, he cannot be identified) who was described as so powerful, with corrupt police in his pay, that ‘he could bend justice’.

This individual controlled the drugs trade across a huge swathe of South London and was reputedly involved in gangland murders, bribing police and running an operation based on fear and bloody reprisals against enemy gangsters."

Mongrel Mob boss says boy's killer has no gang affiliations - Local News - Hawke's Bay Today: "The Mongrel Mob has been quick to distance itself from convicted killer Benny Haerewa.

Haerewa, 32, the killer of 4-year-old Hawke's Bay boy James Whakaruru, was released from prison yesterday - despite Parole Board reports claiming he remains violent and dangerous.

The president of the Hastings chapter of the Mongrel Mob, Rex Timu, said media reports stating Haerewa was 'gang related' were incorrect.

'He [Haerewa] has no affiliation with any gang that I know of,' Mr Timu wrote to Hawke's Bay Today.

'To me, this act of cruelty would rate amongst the lowest of any act to a child by an adult, and this act I can assure you it is not condoned by any gang in this country knowingly.

'I can assure you that his sentence, even though he has done 12 years in jail, is not over.'"

The ATL rappers were allegedly arrested Thursday in Henry County, according to TMZ .

The report said Waka (real name Juaquin James Malphurs) and Gucci were arrested at Waka’s home and that Waka’s mother said police were looking for evidence of gangs and drugs.

The website said unnamed law enforcement sources in Henry County said police were investigating possible prostitution but found marijuana and weapons.

According to a search warrant, police searched Waka’s home for “marijuana, articles, pictures, and communications relating to gangs and gang paraphernalia.”

Waka has rapped openly about being a member of the Bloods street gang.

If the report is true, the rappers are still in police custody. They have not been booked into the county jail, Major Jeff Norman of the Henry County Sheriff’s Office told the AJC.

“Neither one of them are here,” he said, adding that the last time Malphurs was in custody there was in September."

Gangsters Desire (German Edition)gulftoday.ae Wanted German gangster killed during hold-up: "German authorities said on Saturday that two bank robbers killed during a shoot-out with police during a heist were likely the so-called 'Gentlemen gansters,' suspected of a string of hold-ups since 1995.

The married couple, a 38-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man, died during a firefight which took place late on Friday at a bank in Karlsruhe, southwest Germany.

Media reports said the woman took her own life after seeing her accomplice killed by police bullets. A 28-year-old female police officer was also seriously injured in the shoot-out.

'According to our investigations, the dead robbers are very likely to be the couple wanted for years who have unfortunately achieved a level of notoriety under the misleading name 'Gentlemen gangsters,' prosecutors in Karlsruhe said.

They were suspected of carrying out no fewer than 21 armed robberies since 1995, getting away with a total of around two million euros ($2.6 million)."

According to the police, Dog Paw, who has eluded them for months, might be linked to an attack on a police team in Bedward Gardens, St Andrew yesterday.

According to him, the perpetrators of the illegal sand mining operation are using money from the sale of the sand to buy weapons and ammunition."

Christopher Howse has been indicted on aggravated robbery, kidnapping and weapons charges in connection with the July 14 gunpoint robbery

Posted On 19:47 0 comments

: "Christopher Howse has been indicted on aggravated robbery, kidnapping and weapons charges in connection with the July 14 gunpoint robbery of O’Hara’s Beverage in Lorain.
Prosecutors and police had already charged Mark Taylor, 27, of Elyria, on similar charges for his role in the robbery of the Leavitt Road store.
According to police, Taylor — who was arrested moments after the robbery — and another man, now identified as the 19-year-old Howse, went into the store around noon with guns drawn and made off with about $1,500 in cash from the register and two money bags.
A clerk told police that she saw the two men pulling masks over their faces before they came into the store and had thrown the keys to a customer in the hope that the customer would be able to lock the doors.
But police said Howse and Taylor managed to get inside the store and forced the customer into a backroom while the clerk was ordered to open the store’s safe. A second employee was also briefly held by the robbers after returning from lunch.
After the robbery, the two men fled the store, but Taylor was quickly stopped by officers who were in the area because of an earlier report that two masked men had been seen on Oberlin Avenue."

Triggerman in Monticello murder sentenced to maximum: "Stanley Hunter, the Monticello man and member of the Crips street gang who admitted to fatally shooting 34-year-old Hercules Jones in April was sentence Tuesday to 25 years to life in prison.

Hunter admitted in Sullivan County Court that he shot Jones on April 5 with an illegally possessed .22 caliber handgun during a robbery attempt. He pled guilty to murder in the second degree.

Hunter’s original plea agreement called for 20 years to life in prison but that was tossed by County Court Judge Frank LaBuda who found he had breached the terms of the agreement by possessing prison contraband after the plea.

Hunter was indicted after his murder plea for promoting prison contraband in the first degree, two counts of attempted escape in the first degree and obstructing governmental administration.

It is alleged that he possessed a handcuff key, fought with Sullivan County Jail corrections officers who tried to search him and tried to escape from custody on September 20.

He faces from two to four years to 3 ½ to seven years in prison if convicted. District Attorney James Farrell said he would “vigorously prosecute” the new charges. The DA said Hunter posed “a clear and present danger” to the community and those working in the corrections system."

Sacramento gang member gets 5 years in prison for bank fraud | News10.net | Sacramento, California | News: "U.S. District judge sentenced Sacramento gang member Donald Taylor, 39, on Monday to five years in prison for conspiracy to commit bank fraud.
Taylor, who pleaded guilty to the charge on Aug. 31, 2009, was accused of being apart of a financial scheme that stole between $1 million and $2 million from 37 financial institutions in late 2007 and early 2008, said Lauren Horwood with the U.S. Department of Justice.
Horwood said Taylor was the seventh defendant to be sentenced in the conspiracy uncovered by a federal investigation. According to court documents, the organizers, operating out of California, sent runners to ten states including California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas, to use so-called 'prepaid' credit cards for cash advances at banks.
Horwood said although the cards had small amounts of money available, the runners would tell the bank tellers to call a toll-free number that was controlled by a co-schemer, who would then pose as a card services representative saying there were thousands of dollars available on the card. The suspects would then instruct the teller which buttons to press on the card terminal in order to approve the transaction.
The runner would keep a portion of the funds and remit about half of the fraudently obtained funds to the scheme's organizers in the Sacramento area, said Horwood."
